Introduction to my blog

This is a blog dedicated to those dress lovers, and let's face it, what woman doesn't appreciate a beautiful dress when she sees one. The dress is one of the most feminine garments a woman can wear, it's an easy outfit option, throw it on and you're done, no fuss no muss. But the best moment is when you find that one dress that makes you feel like you should be the next Kate Moss or Victoria Beckham. Like Calvin Klein once said "It's all about knowing how to make fabric fall against a body so that we see the woman and not the dress."
How is it that that one white pleated halter dress flowing over a subway grate can become the second most screened image of all time? Or that one feathered dress worn by Ginger Rogers can shape one of the most memorable dance numbers in history? Or that Audrey Hepburn's white Embassy ball gown from My Fair Lady wasn't specially designed by a top label but in fact found in an antique shop and refurbished for the scene? Because dresses can influence society, and actually make an impact as crazy as that may seem.
But that's what’s so great about it, these examples are proof that fashion doesn't just exist on the runway but weaves itself into our everyday lives. One of my favorite quotes comes from Coco Chanel when she says "Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." The fashion industry is constantly changing and garments go in and out of style faster then the blink of an eye, but when a woman can find a dress that makes her feel like a million bucks...well that's timeless.
